Former Polesie defender Vadim Chervak has been terminated due to an offensive scandal against the referee in a match of the First League of the championship of Ukraine. The Zhytomyr club decided to end the contract with the player ahead of schedule. However, Polesie head coach Yuriy Kalitvintsev believes that the road for Chervak is not entirely closed, and he does not rule out the possibility that the footballer will return to the club one day. Chervak is a graduate of Dynamo and Shakhtar, but has yet to play a single game for the Ukrainian giants’ first team.

Polesie head coach Yuriy Kalitvintsev has commented on the future of former Polesie defender Vadim Chervak, who left the club ahead of schedule due to an offensive scandal.


Vadym Chervak​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​is marked by scandalous actions in the match of the First League of the championship of Ukraine. Defender Polissya pushed the referee of the match against MFK Metallurg Sofia Reason in the back, for which he was disqualified for six months. The Zhytomyr club decided to terminate the contract with the player ahead of schedule.

Yuri Kalitvintsev believes that the road Chervak ​​​​to Polissya is not completely closed and he does not rule out the possibility that the footballer will one day return to the Zhytomyr club.

Will he return to the team? Everything is possible in life. I do not comment on club management decisions. I met Chervak, talked to him. He understands his mistakes and does not blame anyone,” said Kalitvintsev in an interview with Football Ukraine.
