The Ukrainian youth team has begun preparations for the finals of the 2023 European Championship (U-21) in Austria. A group of players joined the team’s coaching staff in Vienna and then travelled by bus to the delegation location in Styria. Ruslan Rotan, the team’s coach, had 24 players available for light recovery sessions, running and exercise in the fitness room. The team will play a control game with Kuwait’s U-21 team on June 13 and face Ireland’s U-21 team three days later. The Ukraine team will play against Croatia, Romania and Spain in the group stage of the Euro 2023 tournament.

On Wednesday, June 7, the team’s coaching staff and a group of players from Uzhgorod arrived in Vienna via Kosice, after which they drove by bus directly to the delegation location in Styria (a federal state in southeastern Austria).
The Legionnaires joined a team already in the Alpine country, and last night Ruslan Rotan had 24 players available. Against the backdrop of grueling moves, the team held light recovery sessions, combining them with running and exercise in the fitness room.
It should be noted that for the duration of the training camp in Austria, Vladimir Yezersky, who will work with the defenders, will be included in the coaching staff. From June 16, Sergey Kravchenko will join the assistant of Rotan, the official website of UAF reports.

The national team of Ukraine U-21 on June 13 will play a control game with the same age group from Kuwait. And three days later, Ukraine will face Ireland’s U-21 team.
In June, the youth team of Ukraine will play at Euro 2023. At the group stage, the blue-yellow will face the same age groups from Croatia, Romania and Spain.

- June 24th. Romania;
- June 27. Spain.
If the Ukrainian team manages to get into the top three at the end of the tournament, then this will take them to the 2024 Olympics.
