Five Ukrainian teams have been selected to play in next season’s European competitions. Shakhtar, Denpr-1, Dawn, Dynamo and Vorskla have all earned their place in the tournament. Shakhtar will start in the playoff round of the Champions League selection, while Dnepr-1 will begin in the second qualifying round. Zorya will represent Ukraine in the Europa League, while Dynamo will start in the third qualifying round. Finally, Vorskla will begin in the second round of qualifying. The Football Association of Ukraine has the right to nominate five teams for participation in European competitions in the 2023/24 season.
At the end of the UPL 2022/23 season, five teams were determined who would play from Ukraine in next season’s European competition. They are Shakhtar, Denpr-1, Dawn, Dynamo and Vorskla.
The Football Association of Ukraine, according to the 12th place in the UEFA coefficient table in the spring of 2022, has the right to nominate five teams for participation in European competitions in the 2023/24 season.

Champions League

Ukrainian champions Shakhtar on the grid should start in the playoff round of the Champions League selection. However, due to Russia’s disqualification and victory in the Champions League of the club, which at the same time fell into the Champions League zone in its national championship (Manchester City or Inter will be the title holders), the miners received an immediate pass to the group stage .

The runners-up of Dnepr-1 entered the second qualifying round of the Champions League. He needs to beat three opponents to get into the Champions League group. At the initial stage, among opponents, Dnipros had two options – Switzerland Napkins or Greek Panathinaikos.
In case of failure at any stage, our representative will move to the Europa League, but to the group only if he defeats at least one opponent in the Champions League. Otherwise you need to qualify for LE.
Europa League

UPL bronze medalist Zorya will represent Ukraine in the Europa League – in the qualifying playoff round. Failing that, our club will automatically move to the Conference League group.
Conference League
- Dynamo starting in the third qualifying round.
- Draw – July 24, matches – August 10 and 17.

Dynamo’s fourth UPL team will start in the third round of qualifying. To enter the LC main draw, a team has to overcome two opponents.

- Draw – June 21, matches – July 27 and August 3.

The fifth UPL team Vorskla will start in the second round of qualifying. To get into the LC main draw, teams have to go through three opponents.
