Former Shakhtar and Dnipro player Evgeny Seleznev is preparing for his farewell match, which will be held on June 6 in Avangard. He is waiting for the decision of two Dynamo legends, Sergei Rebrov and Maxim Shatskikh, who could come to Uzhgorod from abroad. Seleznev’s main goal for the farewell match is to raise a lot of money, and entry is free. Seleznev played 192 games for Dnipro and 74 matches for Shakhtar.

Today we talked again, he couldn’t come, but he sent congratulations. My farewell match will be played by people who have been with me through certain stages of my career.

The former football player admitted that he is still waiting for the decision of two Dynamo legends who could come to Uzhgorod from abroad – Sergei Rebrov and Maxim Shatskikh.

I haven’t installed the composition 100%. Zinchenko, Mudryk, Malinovsky, Shevchenko, Usyk will not be able to come. I’m still waiting for Sergei Stanislavovich Rebrov’s decision. I have a lot of respect for him. He is a legend, like Maxim Shatskikh. I will be grateful if they come,” said Seleznev on YouTube channel Football 2.0.
- Seleznev’s last club was Minay, for whom he played one game in the 2022/23 season.
- Seleznev played 192 games for Dnipro, scoring 88 goals and providing 22 assists.
- For Shakhtar, the footballer played in 74 matches, scored 30 goals and provided seven assists.
