Minai head coach Volodymyr Sharan has signed a new contract with the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) club, which will see him continue to lead the team until at least the end of the 2023/24 season. Along with Sharan, several other key members of the coaching and medical staff, including assistant coach Vadim Chernyshenko, senior coach Sergey Mizin, and physiotherapists Mikhail Dankiv and Anatoly Shishkin, have also signed new agreements. Despite only making his debut as head coach in August 2021 due to the Russian invasion, Sharan led Minai to their highest results in the UPL, finishing tenth last season with 33 points in 30 games.

Vladimir Sharan, 51, will lead the team until at least the end of the 2023/24 season. The parties agreed on new terms of the mutually beneficial contract, the Minay press service reported.
Also signed a new agreement:
- assistant coach Vadim Chernyshenko,
- senior coach Sergey Mizin,
- goalkeeper coach Andrey Novak,
- doctor Oleg Temnik,
- physiotherapists Mikhail Dankiv and Anatoly Shishkin.

Sharan led Minay in the winter of 2022, however, due to the invasion of the Russian army, he was able to make his debut as the head coach of the Transcarpathians only in August last year.

Under Sharan’s leadership, Minay achieved the highest results in the three-year history of performance in the UPL. The Transcarpathian team scored 33 points in 30 games and finished tenth last season.
