Israeli midfielder Manor Solomon, currently owned by Donetsk Shakhtar, is garnering interest from Tottenham but plans to continue playing for English side Fulham. Solomon, whose contract with Shakhtar runs until the end of the year, played on loan for Fulham last season and is set to spend the first part of next season on loan with them again if a full transfer deal is not agreed upon in the summer. FIFA rules allow Ukrainian club legionnaires to unilaterally suspend their contracts, with Solomon taking advantage of this. Tottenham’s interest in the midfielder must be approved by new head coach Ange Postekoglu.

Manor Solomon, whose contract with Shakhtar runs until the end of the year, last season played on loan for English side Fulham.

The Israeli winger took advantage of FIFA rules, which allow Ukrainian club legionnaires to unilaterally suspend their contracts.

Solomon plans to spend the first part of next season at Fulham on loan if the London club do not agree a full transfer deal with Shakhtar in the summer. In the winter, players will become free agents and will be able to leave the Pitmen for free.

FIFA has extended its rules, so Manor has a chance to use them again.
