Former head coach of Ukrainian football clubs Karpaty Metalist and Mariupol, Oleksandr Sevydov, has spoken out about the lack of funding for youth football in Ukraine. According to Sevydov, funding is at an all-time low and trainers are not being paid a salary, but rather a daily allowance. The former coach raised questions to the President of the UAF Andrei Pavelko and criticized highly-paid Italian officials Luciano Luci and Francesco Baranca for their handling of Ukrainian football. Sevydov was recently suspended from football for life for his involvement in match-fixing at PFC Sumy in 2017-2018.

The former coach addressed questions to the President of the UAF Andrei Pavelko, and also poked at the highly paid Italians – the head of the Arbitration Committee Luciano Luci and his colleague at the UAF, the head of the Ethics and Fair Play Committee Francesco Baranca.
