Former football player and current blogger and owner of the Krasava club, Yevhen Savin, has shared his experience of attempting to communicate with former Ukrainian player Anatoly Tymoshchuk, who he claims has sold his conscience for Gazprom money. Despite the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Tymoshchuk continues to work in Russia as assistant head coach of Zenit and has not expressed his position on the situation in his home country. Savin attempted to interview Tymoshchuk several times, but was rejected each time. He believes that Tymoshchuk’s actions will not be forgiven by the Ukrainian public.

Former football player, and now blogger and owner of the Krasava club, Yevhen Savin shares his experience of communicating with Ukrainian traitor Anatoly Tymoshchuk.

Yevgeny Savin, after the start of the war in Ukraine, went to Cyprus and moved his football club there.

During the war, he repeatedly tried to interview the former player of Shakhtar and the Ukrainian national team Anatoly Tymoshchuk, who continued to live in the Russian Federation and still did not talk about the military attack on our country, but was rejected by him.

“I personally went to Tymoshchuk. I wrote to him many times. I wrote to him: “Tolya, let’s do it.” At first he did not answer at all, and then he said that he would think.

And then he wrote: “Zheka, sorry. I don’t want”. I replied that this was expected. He said, “As you say.” I wrote to him: “Toll, no matter what I say. It is important what you say to yourself when some time has passed.

Savin assured that Tymoshchuk sold his conscience for Gazprom money some time ago, which he received first as a football player of Zenit, and now continues as an assistant to the head coach.

“Anyone can find a billion excuses. I heard the version that he has a Russian wife, he has all the money in Russia. But I am sure that Tymoshchuk and Tymoshchuk will not be forgiven for this.

You can leave your wife for a while, you can withdraw money from Russia – through the grave, through anything. But you will never take your conscience anywhere. He planted it somewhere between the Gazprom buildings, and it will remain there forever,” Savin said in an interview with the ChestnoK YouTube channel.

  • Tymoshchuk is the Ukrainian national team record holder for matches played. In total, he played 144 matches in which he scored four goals, but UAF with a special decision reset all the player’s achievements.
  • Despite the outbreak of a large-scale war in Ukraine, he continues to work in Russia as assistant head coach of Zenit and does not express his position on what is happening in his home country.
