The CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post has released its analysis of the playing style of Ukrainian Premier League clubs, which is used to make a rating. The research team analyzed the play of the clubs using tactical video and comparing data on high-intensity player runs. The results show that Oleksandriya, led by Ruslan Rotan, had the most horizontal play style. The team played 29 matches, scored 43 points, and was ranked fifth in the Ukrainian Premier League standings. The Rotan team will guarantee themselves access to the Conference League qualification with a win over Lviv Rukh in today’s away match of the 30th round of the Ukrainian championship.
