The total debt of the team from Andalusia is 90 million euros. The problem is that the money is needed immediately. Therefore, the management has already put all the players on the transfer list and is ready to part with any of them.

“This also applies to the leaders of the team – Sevilla do not have untouchable players. Anyone can go. Prize money from UEFA for participation in European competitions will not be enough for Sevilla.

As a result, some important players may leave the team in order for the club to pay off debts. One or two transfers will not be enough,” Castro told Radio Marca.

  • In the 2022/2023 season, Sevilla finished 12th in the Spanish Championship.
  • The team won the Europa League (for the seventh time, setting a tournament record) and will play in the Champions League group stage next season.
  • For Sevilla in the period from 2015 to 2017, Ukrainian national team player Yevhen Konoplyanka played. He played 30 games for the team and scored four goals.
