Former mentor of Al-Ain and potential head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, is set to sign a contract with the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF). Rebrov said he will arrive in Kyiv on June 6 to sign the contract and become the head coach of the national team. He also stated that he has been preparing for the Euro 2024 qualifiers for some time and is studying the team’s opponents. Rebrov played his last game at the head of Al Ain on May 27 in the UAE League Cup final, after which he announced his resignation from the club.

Serhiy Rebrov said that he will come to Kyiv on June 6 to sign a contract with UAF and become the head coach of the Ukrainian national team.
“I will leave for Kyiv and, probably, on the sixth day, in the morning I will be in the capital of Ukraine. I believe and hope that we will resolve all matters with Al Ain.
So yes, if everything goes well, I hope we sign a contract.”

The Ukrainian specialist also said that he has been preparing for the qualifiers for a long time and is studying our team’s opponents.
“The national team of Ukraine is a very big responsibility, so I really started working with my staff and for several weeks now we have been preparing for this match (Euro 2024 qualification), because it is very important for our country.
Especially at this time, for the national team to represent our great state. I have been preparing for some time now,” said Rebrov on the air of “Snidanok z 1+1”.
Recall that on May 27, Sergei Rebrov played the last game at the head of Al Ain in the final of the UAE League Cup, after which he announced his resignation from the club.
