Chelsea’s Ukrainian winger, Mikhail Mudryk, has been named as the fastest midfielder in the 2022/23 Premier League season. According to Opta data, Mudryk clocked a top speed of 36.36 km/h, making him the fastest midfielder ahead of star rivals. Squawka ranked the top 10 fastest midfielders of the season, and Mudryk took the top spot. Although Mudryk is a winger in his role, journalists included him in the list of midfielders. The 22-year-old played 17 games for Chelsea last season, where he scored two assists. New Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is expected to relish working with such a phenomenon.

Based on Opta data, journalists Squawka ranked the top 10 fastest midfielders of the 2022/23 campaign in the English Championship.
Even though Mudrik is a winger in his role, apparently, journalists think of him as a winger.

Journalists speculated that new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino would be happy to deal with such a phenomenon.
