Football expert Mikhail Metreveli criticized the referee Dmitry Panchishin, who officiated the match of the 25th round of the UPL Chernomorets – Dnipro-1 today (1:2).
Dnepr-1 barely beat Chernomorets in an away match of the 25th round of the UPL. Members of the sports club answered Daniil Alefirenko’s goal with two accurate shots from Alexander Nazarenko and Artem Dovbik.
Metreveli was surprised by the work of the main referee of the match, Dmitry Panchishin, who, according to former Shakhtar striker Oleg Matveev, is the godfather of Dnipro-1 sports director Yevgeny Krasnikov.
“What the referee Kharkiv Panchishin did can only be called a circus. The penalty kick against Chernomorets cannot be called left, it is 100% myth. Why isn’t VAR at the main tour matches? The judges’ bias against Dnepr-1 rivals is no longer just interesting, it burns them,” wrote Metreveli on Facebook.
In the next round, Dnipro-1 will face FC Oleksandriya on May 11, while Chernomorets will face Dynamo Kyiv on May 13.
