The Russian colonists in Mariupol have once again created an illusion of a problem-free life by establishing a fake football federation in the city. According to reports, Ivan Ivashchenko has been appointed as the president of this organization, while his father, Konstantin Ivashchenko, was appointed as the “mayor” of Mariupol by the Russians. The real local football federation in Mariupol ceased to exist after the start of the war, and the city has been under Russian occupation since May 2022. The FC Mariupol team also withdrew from the Ukrainian Premier League and planned to return after the war.

The Russian colonists continued to imitate a problem-free life in Mariupol. This time they decided to create a football federation in a dilapidated city.


The occupying authorities continued to imitate the happy life in Mariupol, which they themselves destroyed. According to Mariupol’s TV-7 channel, a fake football federation was recently created in the city.

According to journalists, Ivan Ivashchenko was appointed as the president of this organization. His father, Konstantin Ivashchenko, was the general director of the Azovmash plant and a deputy in the city council from the banned OPPL party.

The Russians appointed Ivashchenko Sr. as the “mayor” of Mariupol, for which he received from the Ukrainian authorities suspicions of treason.

By the way, under the Gauleiter’s father, Vladimir Ivashchenko was very successful in the occupied city. According to information from various sources, he established a theft scheme and the further implementation of humanitarian aid, which entered Mariupol through the Metro humanitarian headquarters.

Mariupol’s real local football federation ceased to exist after the start of the war. The last publication in the social network of this organization was dated February 21, 2022, where a report on the winter tournament in memory of the honorary president of FFM Tokhtar AI was published.
