French football club Marseille is actively seeking a new head coach after Igor Tudor’s departure. Olympique Marseille has added Christophe Galtier to their coaching shortlist to fill the position. Galtier, who recently won the title with PSG, is unlikely to stay in Paris for the upcoming season. Marseille has scored 73 points in 38 games and finished third in Ligue 1 at the end of the 2022/23 season. Negotiations between Marseille and Galtier will take place soon, but there is a possibility that the coach may reject the offer and take a break from his career for mental rehabilitation.

Marseille, including Ruslan Malinovsky, are actively looking for a head coach after Igor Tudor decided to leave the team.


Olympique have added Christophe Galtier to their coaching shortlist, who, after winning the title with PSG, is unlikely to stay in Paris for next season.

According to La Provence, negotiations between Marseille and Galtier will take place in the near future, but the mentor may reject his original club, taking a break from his coaching career for mental rehabilitation.

It was previously reported that the main contender to lead Marseille is former River Plate coach Marcelo Galladro.
