Manchester City claimed their seventh FA Cup trophy in history after defeating Manchester United 2-1 in the final on June 3. Ilkay Gundogan scored a double at his own expense, including the fastest goal in FA Cup final history since 1871, to bring victory to Pep Guardiola’s team. Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes equalized in the 33rd minute of the game, but it was not enough to stop City from taking the lead again in the second half. This victory marks City’s second trophy of the season, with the Champions League final against Inter Milan still to come.

Fernandes equalized in the 33rd minute of the match. The Portuguese scored a penalty awarded for handball in his own penalty area by Grealish.
