The future of Ukrainian midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka from Poland’s Cracovia is in doubt as his contract with the club expires in mid-summer.
Several players, including Yevhen Konoplyanka, have contracts with Cracovia that expire on June 30, 2023. Head coach Jacek Zieliński’s employment contract also expires.
Edition Polish Journal uncovers the reasons for Cracovia’s unsuccessful season and one of them determines the situation with the contracts of the team’s players and coaches.
“The lack of specific negotiations, the lack of clear communication is a big omission. Uncertainty in the locker room creates anxiety. How should Linnet, Nemczycki, Siplak focus on the game if they don’t know if they will be at the club in a month? The coach also doesn’t know about his future.
Earlier, the Ukrainian winger said that there was no conversation with the club’s management about the situation with the contract.
