Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski, who has been a vocal supporter of Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, has found himself in a difficult situation after being spotted with a Russian companion. The Polish striker, who was attending the Spanish Grand Prix as a guest of Ferrari, was seen with Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev. Lewandowski has been a strong advocate for Ukraine and was even gifted a captain’s armband in the colors of the Ukrainian flag by Andriy Shevchenko to wear during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Despite his political views, Lewandowski has maintained a friendship with Medvedev.

However, the Barcelona star found himself in a tricky situation as he was in the company of a Russian. Lewandowski is friends with Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev.

Remember that Lewandowski was one of the first star footballers to publicly support Ukraine after the massive invasion of Putin’s aggressors.
Andriy Shevchenko developed a friendly relationship with the striker and even gave the Polish striker a captain’s armband in the colors of the Ukrainian flag so that Robert could travel with him to the 2022 World Cup matches in Qatar.
