The head coach of Ukraine’s national youth team, Ruslan Rotan, has announced the 25 players who will participate in the training camp in Austria before the European Championship (U-21). Unfortunately, due to injuries, four players, including defenders and forwards, will not be able to participate in Euro 2023. The assistant head coach also revealed that four Ukrainian youth players are eager to play in the Euros, although it’s unclear when they will join the team. The youth team of Ukraine will be playing against Croatia, Romania, and Spain at Euro 2023.
The head coach of the national youth team of Ukraine Ruslan Rotan has decided the list of players who will take part in the training camp in Austria before the European Championship (U-21).
The coach of the Ukrainian youth team called 25 players to a training camp in June to prepare for the continental championship. Seven more players are on the reserve list. Unfortunately, due to injuries, Euro 2023 will not be able to play:
- defender Dmitry Kapinus,
- midfielder Egor Yarmolyuk,
- forwards Nikolay Kukharevich and Vladislav Supryaga.
Assistant head coach of the Ukrainian youth team Ruslan Rotan, Yevhen Gres told who else wants to go to Euro 2023.
“There are four youth players in the Ukrainian national team who are eager to play at the Euros – Anatoly Trubin, Georgy Sudakov, Mikhail Mudryk and Vladislav Vanat. It is not yet known exactly when they will join the team,” the TaToTake telegram channel quoted Gresya as saying.
The application of the youth team of Ukraine for Euro 2023 will include 23 players.
The Rotan team will meet on June 7 in Austria, where they will begin preparations for Euro 2023. June 16 will be a control match between the youth teams of Ukraine and Ireland.

- June 24 – Ukraine – Romania;
- June 27 – Ukraine – Spain.
