Phnom Penh Crown has won their second consecutive Cambodian League Cup, led by Ukraine coach Oleg Starinsky. The defending champions beat Nagaworld in the final, with the game ending 1-1 after regular time. Phnom Penh was lucky in the penalty shootout, with Starinsky’s team being more accurate than their opponents. Starinsky, who has been at the helm of Crown Phnom Penh since 2020, was named the Cambodia Premier League Coach of the Year in 2022. Previously, the specialist worked as an assistant coach in Moldavian Speranza and in the 2019/20 season he assisted the current Shakhtar Academy director in the U-19 team.

Phnom Penh Crown and Nagaworld played 1:1 during regular time of the match. In the 34th minute, Shimizu Shintaro put Starinsky’s team ahead, and in the 53rd minute, de Oliveira equalized.
Phnom Penh was lucky in the penalty shootout. In the lottery after the match, Starinsky wards were more accurate than their opponents (3:2). Phnom Penh won the Cambodia League Cup for the second consecutive year under the leadership of the former Shakhtar analyst.
