Artem Besedin, the Ukrainian striker who played on loan for Cypriot club Omonia, has returned to Dynamo Kiev after the end of his loan deal. Besedin suffered a serious knee ligament injury earlier in the season, and Omonia thanked him for his contribution to the team’s results, calling him a “dedicated, disciplined and professional athlete.” During his time with Omonia, Besedin played 15 games, scoring one goal and making one assist. His contract with Dynamo is valid until the end of 2024.

Cyprus thanked Artem for the time he spent with the team from Nicosia.
“Besides his contribution to the team’s results, he is a dedicated, disciplined and professional athlete. A big thank you to Artem Besedin for his contribution, we wish him a speedy recovery from his injury and success in his future career,” said Omonia in a statement.
- The 27-year-old Besedin moved to Omonia on loan in January and played 15 games for the Cypriot side, scoring one goal and making one assist.
- Artem became the owner of the Cyprus Cup this season with the Ukrainian midfielder Roman Bezus, owned by Omonia.
