Argentine football star Lionel Messi has reportedly decided to continue his career with American club Inter Miami, owned by former English footballer David Beckham. Messi’s contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expires in June, after which he will become a free agent. The decision comes after negotiations with his former team Barcelona failed to yield results. Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal had offered Messi a salary of €500m per season until 2025, with an extension option, but he received a less lucrative offer from Inter Miami. Messi captained the Argentine national team to victory in the 2021 World Cup.
