Luhansk Zorya’s head coach, Patrick van Leeuwen, has confirmed that Panama striker Eduardo Guerrero will remain with the Ukrainian club for the next season. Guerrero has been on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv since February, and his loan deal is set to expire this summer. The Israeli club expects Luhansk to exercise the option to buy the player for a fee of €500,000, while Transfermarkt values him at €300,000. Guerrero scored five goals and provided five assists in ten games for Zorya, helping them finish third in the Ukrainian Premier League and qualify for the Europa League playoffs.
Patrick van Leeuwen, the head coach of Luhansk Zorya, said that one of the leaders of the team, Eduardo Guerrero, will remain at the Luhansk club for next season.
Eduardo Guerrero has been playing for Zorya since February this year on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv until the end of the season. Patrick van Leeuwen said that the Panama striker will remain at the Luhansk club.
“In my opinion, the club has already decided to exercise the purchase option so that Eduardo Guerrero stays with us next season,” van Leeuwen said in an interview with the club’s press office.
The Israeli club expects that the Lugansk club will exercise the option to buy the player for 500,000 euros. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the Panama player at 300 thousand euros.
