According to The Athletic, during this meeting, Carl Ancelotti’s coaching staff recommended Lunin leave the team and had already given the Real Madrid management a list of possible candidates for the role of Thibaut Courtois’ replacement.
However, Lunin himself firmly expressed his desire to remain in the team. The Ukrainian is ready to keep competing with the Belgian goalkeeper, waiting for his chance. So far, there is no information about what Real Madrid will do in this situation.
