Former Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Aliev has commented on the possibility of Ukrainian national team midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko returning to the Kyiv team. Yarmolenko is set to leave Arab Al Ain in June as a free agent and talks with the leadership of the Kyiv club are reportedly in the final stages. Aliev believes that Yarmolenko’s return to Dynamo will have a positive impact on the progress of young players and that his presence will be a great motivation for them. Yarmolenko previously played for Dynamo from 2008 to 2017, scoring 137 goals and making 90 assists.

Former White-Blues midfielder Alexander Aliyev spoke about Yarmolenko’s potential return to Dynamo in an interview with YouTube channel FanDay.net.
“He’s still young, he can still play. There are examples – the same Messi and Ronaldo. These are, as they say, geeks. But Andryukha is also physically ready. I think if he returns to Dynamo, he will help the team,” said Aliyev.
Oleksandr believes Yarmolenko’s return will have a positive impact on the progress of Dynamo’s young players.
“His presence will be a great motivation for young people. He is always humble. He is sociable and can laugh. I always welcome young people’s respect for their elders,” Aliyev said.
- The 33-year-old Yarmolenko played for Dynamo from 2008 to 2017 and played 340 matches for the Kyivans, where he scored 137 goals and made 90 assists.
- Andrey also has experience playing for Borussia Dortmund and West Ham London.
- Aliyev, 38, played for Dynamo from 2002 to 2013. Alexander played 134 games for the capital club, scoring 30 goals and providing 28 assists.
