The Israeli youth team (U-21) has advanced to the semifinals of Euro 2023 after defeating their peers from Georgia in the quarterfinals. The first scoring chance was created by Israel. In the fifth minute of the match, forward Dor Turgeman, after an individual pass, went one-on-one with Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, but shot wide of the goal.

In the middle of the first half, Gocholeishvili hit the corner near the opposition goal with a powerful shot, but the goal was disallowed because the ball left the field during the attack.

At the beginning of the second half of the meeting, Israeli defender Omri Gandelman sent the ball to the opponent’s goal post from close range.

In extra time, the game went on a collision course, but neither team was aware of the opportunities created. At the same time, Georgia never hit Israel on target in 120 minutes of the fight.
