Donetsk Shakhtar’s Brazilian midfielder Maicon, who is currently on loan at Corinthians, is attracting interest from top Turkish clubs. According to ESPN, Fenerbahce is one of the clubs that is interested in signing Maicon. There were earlier reports that he could move to rival club Galatasaray. Maicon has been playing for Corinthians on loan since April last year, and his lease agreement includes an early termination clause if Shakhtar receives an offer to sell the player. The 25-year-old midfielder joined Shakhtar in 2018 for €6.6m and has since made 98 appearances for the club. His contract with Shakhtar is valid until the end of 2025.
