A few months ago, Christophe Galtier was accused of racially abusing players from his former club Nice. The coach allegedly said that he could not have so many blacks and Muslims on the team. Of course, he denied everything, even when this topic was raised at a press conference, but the situation suddenly gained momentum.

The head coach of PSG and his adopted son and agent John Valovich-Galtier were arrested on Friday, June 30, on charges of racial discrimination in the Nice team, RMC Sport reported, citing French prosecutors.

The officials have already interviewed a large number of witnesses directly related to the club, and in the end decided to conduct an examination in front of the current PSG coach.

For now, it is unknown what the future holds for the 56-year-old coach and his stepson. Investigators have the ability to hold suspects in police custody for 24 hours, after which they must decide whether they will be released or face trial. More information should be expected in the near future.
