On Friday, June 16, the hearing of the case of the President of the Football Association of Ukraine, Andriy Pavelko, was held at the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Lviv. The officer was sent to a pretrial detention center for 60 days.
Today, June 30, an appeal meeting will be held in the case of UAF officers. On top of that, the defense attracted a new lawyer, Malkot, who was hired by Andrei Pavelko’s wife, Ekaterina. Lawyers filed a motion to postpone the hearing until July 5.
The court agreed to postpone the meeting and scheduled the next one for July 7 (next Friday), so Andrei Pavelko will be in jail for at least another week, reported journalist Konstantin Andriyuk.

Since November 2022, Pavelko has been investigated in the case of embezzlement of funds for the construction of plants for the production of artificial farms.
On November 29, the UAF president posted bail of 9.8 million hryvnias to avoid arrest.
Starting from February this year, the officer was removed from his post during the investigation period. In May, he received a ban on leaving Kyiv and the region, as well as communicating with other defendants in his case.
