The Ukrainian national team has travelled to Germany to participate in a friendly match with the local national team. The team, led by Sergei Rebrov, started their journey on a train from the capital’s railway station. The team will play against “Bundestim” on Monday, June 12. The new head coach of the team, Sergei Rebrov, and his children met with pupils of Kyiv Lokomotiv at the Central Station terminal before departure to answer questions and take pictures together. The team will have their first training session under the leadership of Rebrov tomorrow at the Werder Bremen football center.

The Ukrainian national team started its journey to Europe to participate in a friendly match with “Bundestim” on Wednesday, June 7, in the evening, boarding a train at the capital’s railway station.

The press service of UAF reported that before departure, the new head coach of the team, Sergei Rebrov, and his children met in the children’s room of the Central Station terminal with pupils of Kyiv Lokomotiv. Young footballers can ask their idols questions, as well as take pictures together.

- Ukrainian club players, as well as Bournemouth’s English defender Ilya Zabarny, who, after the end of the club season, managed not only to visit home, but also to get married, left Kyiv for the Polish Hill.
- This morning, the national team took a bus from Kholm to Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw, and from there flew to the first place of deployment during the June training camp – Bremen.

- In the Polish capital, two legionnaires joined the group – Rakuva midfielder Vladislav Kochergin and Everton defender Vitaliy Mikolenko. The rest of the players who play in foreign tournaments will come directly to Bremen.

- Given the long and tiring road, the coaching staff decided to do some recovery stretches at the hotel today. The first training session under the leadership of Rebrov will take place tomorrow at the Werder Bremen football center.
