- defenders Emil Holm, Joao Moutinho and Mattia Caldara;
- midfielders Julius Beck and Simone Bastoni.
In addition, two Spezia players were suspended for the match against Verona:
- defender Kelvin Amian;
- forward to Emmanuel Gyasi.
Three more Spezia players are not at their best and haven’t had enough match practice lately:
- midfielders Olbin Ekdal and Kevin Agudelo;
