West Ham United has won their first European trophy in 43 years after beating Fiorentina 2-1 in the Conference League final. Celebrating the victory, West Ham’s mentor David Moyes did not hold back his emotions and did a crazy dance. After the final whistle, the club’s players and coaching staff approached the West Ham supporters’ stands and did a crazy dance. Moyes had promised reporters in March that if he won the Conference League, he would organize an incendiary dance, and he made good on his promise and proceeded to dance with beer in the locker room.

On Wednesday, June 7, West Ham beat Fiorentina 2-1 in the Conference League final to secure their first European trophy in 43 years. Celebrating the victory, the mentor of the London team, David Moyes, did not hold back his emotions and did a crazy dance.

The goal 90 minutes before the game sent 60-year-old English manager David Moyes into an impressive sprint along the touchline to celebrate the players.

In March, Moyes promised reporters that if he won the Conference League, he would organize an incendiary dance.

“Don’t worry, if I win the trophy, I’ll dance and everything.”

The coach made good on his promise and proceeded to dance with beer in the locker room.

West Ham became the second Conference League Cup winners in history. Roma won their first trophy last season, beating Feyenoord 1-0 in the final.

  • At the end of last season, Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko left West Ham. He played for the team from 2018 to 2022 (86 matches, 13 goals).
  • West Ham qualified for the 2023/24 Europa League group stage (pot 1). In the English Championship, the team from London took 14th place.
