Andriy Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has congratulated Serhiy Rebrov on his appointment as the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team. Rebrov signed a three-year contract with the team, marking his return to Ukraine after six years of working abroad. Yermak praised Rebrov’s decision to choose the national team despite offers from other clubs, calling it a manifestation of true patriotism. The team will play a friendly match with the German team on June 12, followed by Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia and Malta in Skopje on June 16 and 19.
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak reacted to the news about the appointment of Serhiy Rebrov as the head coach of the Ukrainian national team.
On June 7, at the House of Football, UAF President Andriy Pavelko introduced Rebrov as the new coach of the Ukrainian national team, signing a three-year contract with the 47-year-old specialist.
Yermak, in conjunction with Rebrov’s appointment, congratulated Sergei Stanislavovich on his return to Ukraine after six years of working abroad.
“Friends, congratulations on your appointment as head coach of the Ukrainian national football team. Despite offers from other clubs, you chose the national team. The desire to return and work for the country in these difficult times is a manifestation of true patriotism,” wrote Yermak on the social network.
