Chelsea’s winter transfer campaign from London, which included the acquisition of Mikhail Mudrik, has been named among the craziest moments of last season’s European football. The Ukrainian winger moved from Shakhtar to Chelsea in the winter transfer window for €100m including bonuses and signed a contract with the London club until 2031. The Aristocrats spent over €349m to strengthen the squad in the winter, bringing in eight players, including Mudrik, Enzo Fernandez, Benoit Badiashile, Madueke bread, Slightly dense, Andrew Santos, David Datro Fofana, and João Felix. Mikhail Mudrik moved from Shakhtar to Chelsea in the winter transfer window for 100 million euros including bonuses and signed a contract with the London club until 2031.

The Aristocrats spent more than 300 million pounds (349.18 million euros) to strengthen the squad in the winter. In addition to the Ukrainian winger, seven other players moved to Chelsea:

  • Slightly dense;
  • Andrew Santos;
  • David Datro Fofana;
  • João Felix.

“When the spending seems to stop, you go to sleep and wake up to the news that the Blues are ready to announce another transfer. This crazy estimate cost a total of over £300 million,” wrote the journalist.

  • Mudrik, 22, has made 17 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions and provided two assists.
  • The London team finished 12th in the English Premier League standings and did not break into European competition.
