Former Ukrainian national team forward, Evgeny Seleznev, has shared his plans for life after football. The ex-Shakhtar and Dnipro striker expressed his desire to help his country in any way he can. Seleznev played his farewell match on June 6th in Uzhgorod, scoring five goals in a thrilling 8-8 draw. The match ended in a penalty shootout, with the Orange team winning 5-4. Seleznev retired from professional football after his last appearance for Minai on September 25th, 2022.

“What will come? Help this country. How, I don’t know. Than I can. Whoever they ask, I will be. Any help, in any area,” Seleznev said in a comment to the Brutal Football YouTube channel.
- On Wednesday, June 6, Seleznev played his farewell match in Uzhgorod. The meeting with the participation of former football partners and star guests ended in a draw 8:8 in normal time, and the Orange team won in a penalty shootout with a score of 5:4. Seleznev scored five goals in this match.
- Seleznev ended his professional career in Minai. The last time he entered the field in his composition was on September 25, 2022 in a home match against FC Lviv (0:1) in the first round of the Ukrainian championship.
