The Ukrainian Premier League has announced the start of the 2023/24 Ukrainian Championship, which will begin on July 29th, 2023. The league has also revealed the return of the Ukrainian Cup, which was suspended for one year due to the ongoing war. The first round of the championship will begin at the end of July this year. The draft plan-calendar for the upcoming season must be approved by the Assembly of UPL participants. The Ukrainian Cup will start on August 16th, 2023, with the final set for May 25th, 2024. Shakhtar Donetsk won the previous season, with Dnipro-1 and Zorya trailing behind.
The Ukrainian Premier League has announced the start of the Ukrainian Championship for the 2023/24 season, as well as the return of the Ukrainian Cup after a one-year hiatus due to the war.
The Ukrainian Championship returns at the end of July this year. The base date for the first round of the 2023/24 season is 29 July. The draft plan-calendar must be approved during the next Assembly of UPL participants.

The UPL website also announced other important dates for the 2023/24 Ukrainian season:
- In the first part of the season, 17 rounds will be held, the base date for the last round is December 9;
- In the second part of the season – 13 rounds, the basic release date after the winter break is February 24, 2024;
- Round 30 has a base date of May 18, 2024.
Next season, it is planned to restore the Ukrainian Cup, which was not held last season because of the war:
- The 1/16 finals are scheduled for August 16;
- 1/8 final – September 27;
- 1/4 final – November 1;
- Semi-final – 3 April 2024;
- End – May 25, 2024.
In the 2022/23 season, Shakhtar Donetsk became champions of the Ukrainian Premier League, ahead of Dnipro-1 and Zorya by five points.
