The Ukrainian national football team has announced the appointment of foreign experts and domestic coaches to assist head coach Serhiy Rebrov. Rebrov’s team includes Vicente Gomez, who will be responsible for the physical and tactical training of the national team players, Alberto Bosch, who will be responsible for collecting information on national team players and their competitors, and Unai Melgosa, who will be responsible for collecting information on potential national team players. Gleb Platov will serve as a coach-analyst, while Rustam Khudzhamov will be the goalkeeper coach. The team will begin training on June 8 in Bremen ahead of a friendly match against the German team on June 12.

Today, June 7, UAF introduced the head coach of the Ukrainian national team.
They became Sergey Rebrov, whose contract was terminated until July 30, 2026.

Foreign experts:
- Vicente Gomez (will be responsible for the physical and tactical training of the national team players);
- Alberto Bosch (will be responsible for collecting information on national team players and their competitors, analyzing national team matches and other team matches);
- Unai Melgosa (will be responsible for collecting information on potential national team players, analyzing youth and youth team matches);
Domestic coach:
- Gleb Platov (coach-analyst);
- Rustam Khudzhamov (goalkeeper coach).
Rebrov himself admitted that not all foreign assistants have signed cooperation agreements.
“We are negotiating, we have not yet signed contracts with all the assistants. I think these are the people I used to work with in Al Ain: Alberto Bosch and Vicente Gomez.”

Also, the blue-yellow mentor named the Ukrainian specialist who will be part of his headquarters and said that Shakhtar general physical training coach Javier Luruenha Lobo will temporarily work in his team.
“Furthermore there will be a Ukrainian assistant with whom I will consult. Gleb Platov, whom I have known for a long time, is already working with us. Goalkeeper coach Ruslan Khudzhamov.
We also invited the fitness coach from Shakhtar to this training camp, because the conditions are difficult, but this is only for these three matches. Let’s see,” Rebrov said at a press conference.
- The Ukrainian national team will begin training on June 8 in Bremen.

- June 16 and 19 – qualifiers for Euro 2024 against Macedonia Malta in Skopje and Trnava Slovakia respectively.
