The Football Association of Ukraine has appointed Serhiy Rebrov as the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team. The 49-year-old specialist has signed a three-year contract and will lead the team in their upcoming matches, including a friendly with Germany and Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Macedonia and Malta. Rebrov previously led Kyiv Dynamo, Al-Ahli, Ferencvaros, and Al Ain before resigning from the latter in May. The announcement comes after Ukraine’s defeat against England in their first Euro 2024 qualification match.
The Football Association of Ukraine officially announced the name of the new head coach of the national team. The Ukrainian national team is led by Serhiy Rebrov.
On May 27, Sergei Rebrov played his last game in charge of Al Ain in the final of the UAE League Cup, after which he announced his resignation from the club.
Today, UAF announced the appointment of Rebrov to the position of head coach of the Ukrainian national team. The contract with the 49-year-old specialist was signed for three years.

Previously, Rebrov led the following teams:
- Kyiv Dynamo (2014-2017),
- Al-Ahli (2017-2018),
- Ferencvaros (2018-2021),
- Al-Ain (2021-2023).
The national team will start its training camp on June 8 in Bremen. On June 12, blue-yellow will play a friendly match with the German team, and on June 16 and 19 – qualifying matches for Euro 2024 against Macedonia and Malta in Skopje and Slovakia Trnava, respectively.
Remember that the national team of Ukraine started the Euro 2024 qualification with an away match against England, which ended in the defeat of our team (0:2).
