The Ukrainian national team is set to have a new head coach with the UAF introducing the new mentor today, June 7. Myron Markevych, coach of Lviv Karpaty, shared his thoughts on the new appointment and expressed his excitement that the team will finally have a certified trainer with experience. Markevych believes that Sergey Rebrov will be the new head coach, and wishes him the best of luck. Rebrov recently resigned from Al Ain after their final game in the UAE League Cup. The Ukrainian national team will start training on June 8 and will play a friendly match with the German team on June 12.

Myron Markevich, who recently led the Carpathians, received positive news that the Ukrainian team will finally have a mentor.
“It is good that the national team finally has a coach. Certified trainer with experience. It is very important. I just wish the team the best of luck.
The Euro 2024 qualifying group is very difficult, but we have to try to come out with this.”
The experienced specialist, who should be the mentor of the yellow-blue team, is sure that Sergei Rebrov will get the position.
“Everything is fine. I wish Rebrov the best of luck, because this is a national prestige. Good luck to him,” said Markevich in an interview with ProFootball Digital YouTube channel.
