Metalist 1925, a Ukrainian football club, has announced that its sports base in Vysoky, located on the outskirts of Kharkiv, is ready to receive the team. The announcement comes a year after the Russian army shelled the base, damaging the windows, facade, interior, and communications, as well as some of the technical equipment. Metalist 1925 finished 12th in the last tournament of Ukraine, earning 32 points in 30 games. The new Premier League season is expected to start in mid-July.
Last year, the Russian army shelled the Metalist 1925 sports base, located on the outskirts of Kharkov.
In the building near the base, all the windows were broken, the facade, interior and communications were damaged, and some of the technical equipment was also destroyed.

A year later, Metalist 1925 reported that the base in Vysoky was ready to receive the team. The Kharkiv club is organizing the training center infrastructure, reporting it on their social networks.
“NTC Vysoky is waiting for the team to return to their native Kharkiv,” the Metalist 1925 press service signed the post on Instagram.
Metalist 1925 played a match last season in Kyiv. The Kharkiv team in the last tournament of Ukraine finished 12th in the standings, earning 32 points in 30 games.
It is expected that the new Premier League season will start in mid-July.
