The Ukrainian youth team is gearing up for the 2023 European Championship, which takes place from June 21 to July 8 in Romania and Georgia. The team, led by Ruslan Rotan, has gathered in Kyiv and has headed to an Austrian training camp. The team’s list of 25 players was announced a few days ago, with seven more on the reserve list. The team’s match calendar includes games against Croatia, Romania, and Spain. A control match between Ukraine and Ireland will take place on June 16. The team’s final application for the championship will include 23 players.
The players of the Ukrainian youth team gathered in Kyiv and went to the Austrian training camp on the eve of the 2023 European Championship.
The youth team of Ukraine (U-21) under the leadership of Ruslan Rotan will take part in the final stage of the European Championship among players of no more than 2000. The tournament will be held from June 21 to July 8 in Romania and Georgia.
On Tuesday, June 6, the youth players gathered in Kyiv and went to the Austrian training camp. Another part of the collection will join in the trip in Lviv and Uzhgorod. The Legionnaires will arrive at the location of the troops that are already directly in Austria, reports the UAF press service.
