Shakhtar Donetsk has decided not to keep Lucas Taylor, a 28-year-old right-back, after his loan deal ends next year. The Brazilian defender, who is owned by Greek side PAOK, could not convince the coaching staff of his ability to play at the level of Ukrainian champions in the 2022/23 season. Taylor made 16 appearances for Shakhtar, scoring one goal and one assist. According to FanDay.net correspondent Dmitry Venkov on Telegram, Taylor’s contract with PAOK runs until June 30, 2024.
