Veres Rivne head coach Yuriy Virt has delegated his assistant Nikolai Lapko to Kiev to watch the parallel match between Metalist 1925 and Dynamo after Veres’ victory over Ingulets. The team secured a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Semyon Vovchenko, but will still have to play a transition match to stay in the UPL. Veres can avoid the play-offs if Metalist 1925 loses to Dynamo. Meanwhile, Kharkiv was able to secure a residence permit in the elite for next season. Veres will play their play-off matches against MFK Metallurg on June 10 and 14.
After the match of the 30th round of the UPL against Ingulets (1:0), the head coach of Veres, Yuriy Virt, said that he has delegated his assistant Nikolai Lapko to Kiev to follow the parallel match between Metalist 1925 and Dynamo (1). :1).
Veres, thanks to a single goal from Semyon Vovchenko, defeated Ingulet, but this was not enough to avoid a transition match to stay in the UPL.
The team from Rivne can avoid the play-offs if Metalist 1925 loses in a parallel match against Dynamo (1:1). Kharkiv, not without sharing the fate, was able to obtain a residence permit in the elite for the next season.
Mentor Veres hopes the win in the last round will give the team confidence ahead of the play-off with MFK Metallurg.

“I hope this emotional boost will allow Veres to stay in the Premier League. Shovkovsky left Veres without a gift. But we ourselves are to blame. In general, we had a good second round of the game. But the result – not so much. They don’t get their points, they lose focus. This is our problem,” said Wirth after the game.
- Veres scored 31 points after 30 rounds and finished 13th in the UPL. The play-off matches against MFK Metallurg will take place on June 10 and 14.
