Brentford B coach Neil Macfarlane has spoken out on Ukraine midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk’s promotion to the first team next season. Yarmolyuk made a seamless transition to English football, which enabled him to progress and develop in the UK. Macfarlane believes that Yarmolyuk has the ability to perform at the Premier League level and deserves his place in the first team. The 19-year-old moved to Brentford from Dnipro-1 last summer and played one game for the first team in the English League Cup.

Yarmolyuk during a year in England adapted without any problems at Brentford, which allowed him to progress in Foggy Albion.
The Brentford B boss thinks Yarmolyuk has the quality to play at Premier League level.

“Yarmolyuk was fantastic, accepted all our needs and now he is in the first team, which he deserves. He did have a great stint in the B team before the injury. He was playing at a very high level then,” said McFarlane.
