The Ukrainian youth national team is gearing up for the upcoming European Championships in June, with coach Ruslan Rotan selecting a squad of 25 players for a training camp ahead of the tournament. The competition, which runs from 21 June to 8 July and is open to players aged 21 or under, will be held in Romania and Georgia. Rotan’s squad features players from a range of domestic and foreign clubs, including Dynamo Kiev and Zulte-Waregem. The team will play Croatia, Romania and Spain in the group stage of the tournament.

The head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine (U-21) Ruslan Rotan has decided the list of players who will start preparing for the upcoming European Championships in June.


The youth team of Ukraine (U-21) under the leadership of Ruslan Rotan will take part in the final stage of the European Championship among players of no more than 2000. The tournament will be held from June 21 to July 8 in Romania and Georgia.

The coach of the Ukrainian youth team called 25 players to a training camp in June to prepare for the continental championship. Seven more players are on the reserve list. This was reported by the UAF press service.

Midfielder:

Ivan Zhelizko (Valmiera), Dmitry Kryskiv, Oleg Ocheretko, Artem Bondarenko (all Shakhtar), Valentin Rubchinsky, Alexander Nazarenko (both Dnipro-1), Kirill Sygeev, Nikolay Mykhaylenko (both Alexandria), Aleksey Kashchuk (Sabah) , Vladimir Brazhko (Zarya).

Bohdan Vyunnik (Gratser), Daniil Alefirenko (Chernomorets), Daniil Sikan (Shakhtar).

The application of the youth team of Ukraine for Euro 2023 will include 23 players. The list may also include players who received a call-up to the national team for the June training camp.

Ruslan Rotan’s team will gather on June 7 in Austria, where they will begin preparations for Euro 2023.

June 16 will be a control match between the youth teams of Ukraine and Ireland.

  • June 21 – Ukraine – Croatia;
  • June 24 – Ukraine – Romania;
  • June 27 – Ukraine – Spain.
