“Chelsea fans have seen this before”: England issues serious warning to Modric.

The journalist of the authoritative British publication Goal, Krishan Davis, praised the play of Chelsea’s Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudrik after his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in January for €100m including bonuses, but has yet to be a solid fixture for the London side.

The journalist of the British sports publication Goal Krishan Davies rated the Ukrainian winger’s performance in his debut season for “nobility” and gave him a score of 3 on a ten-point scale. This allows Michael to take 19th place in the ranking of Chelsea players at the end of the season.

Davies writes that Chelsea have previously made mistakes with expensive signings.

The reporter believes Mudrik has great potential to progress and hopes to improve his game next season.

“Mudrik showed his clear potential, but for every positive moment there was a glaring mistake, bad pass or poor performance. The only mitigating factor was that the winger had not played a competitive game for over a month prior to his arrival.

However, next season everyone will expect more,” said Davis.
