Viktor Skrypnyk, the head coach of Poltava Vorskla, has confirmed that he wants to continue working with the team despite rumors of him leaving the club. He made the statement after leading his team to a 2-1 victory over Shakhtar in the Ukrainian Premier League, securing a fifth-place finish in the standings. Skrypnyk has a valid contract with Vorskla until June 30, 2025, and under his guidance, the team won 14 matches, lost 12, and drew in six more matches. With this win, they have secured a ticket to the Conference League qualification.

Vorskla, under the leadership of Viktor Skrypnyk, managed to get a victory over Shakhtar and thus secured fifth place in the standings with a ticket to the Conference League qualification.

Earlier there was information that Skripnik will most likely leave the Poltava club in the summer after the season in this position, but the expert dismissed these rumors.
“We are very happy to get fifth place. Can only dream about it even at the beginning of the second round.
I have a valid contract with Vorskla. I am a professional trainer. I want to continue working at Vorskla. And I can tell the doubters that the team is not made immediately,” Skrypnyk said at the post-match press conference.
