Fans of Ukrainian football club Rivne Veres have expressed their discontent over the possibility of Ostap Markevich being hired as the new head coach. Markevich, who is currently unemployed, is being considered as a candidate to replace Yuriy Virta at the end of the 2022/23 season. The club is currently facing relegation and will play in the playoffs against Zaporozhye Metalurh. Fans hung banners with the message “Veres without Shabliy and Markevich” during the match against Ingulet. It is unclear whether the fans’ opposition will influence the club’s decision.
Fans of Rivne Veres criticized the possible decision of the club’s management to invite Ostap Markevich, who is currently unemployed, to the position of head coach.
Veres is considering a change of head coach at the end of the 2022/23 season. Club Rivne could not guarantee a place in the UPL after the match with Ingulets (1:0) and now goes to the play-offs, where they will play with Zaporozhye Metalurh.

According to information from the press, one of the candidates to replace the head coach of Veres Yuriy Virta is Ostap Markevich, who is a client of ProStar agency Vadim Shabliy.
Fans were not satisfied with this choice, which was reported directly during the game with Ingulet. Veres fans hang banners with the inscription: “Veres without Shabliy and Markevich.”
Whether the position of the fans will affect the management of the club is still unknown.
