Spanish football club Girona has shown interest in Dnipro-1 striker Artem Dovbik, according to Ukrainian football journalist Igor Tsyganik. Tsyganik claims that Girona is keen on Dovbik’s skills and reportedly discussed the striker with Ukrainian national team winger Viktor Tsygankov. Dovbik recently won the national championship scoring race with 24 goals, but could not beat Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s record. The 25-year-old has played 39 games for Dnipro-1 this season, scoring 29 goals and providing eight assists, and his contract with the club expires on December 31, 2023. Transfermarkt values Dovbik at €11m.
