Ukrainian footballer and Chelsea player Mykhailo Mudryk has shown solidarity with the country’s armed forces in their fight against Russian invaders, posting an image on Instagram of a soldier holding a bullet inscribed with the words “Warm greetings from Mudrik M”. Mudryk, 22, joined Chelsea for £88m in the winter transfer window from Shakhtar. He has played 17 matches with the club and made two assists. The winger’s contract with the London club runs until 2031.
